Rainbow Raindrop Garland

Spring is almost here and so is the rainy weather! Make those drab days brighter with this fun rainbow raindrop craft garland. It’s perfect for spring parties or even as playroom decor. See how easy it is to make and assemble and create one (or a few) for yourself.

Supplies needed to make your own raindrop craft garland:

Step 1. Size and cut your clouds. You can make them smaller or bigger depending on your project. For mine, I sized them two, to a letter-sized page. You want two clouds, for the front and back, per garland. Of course, it would be easier to cut with a die-cutter, but you can definitely still create it without one!

Step 2. Size and cut your raindrops on different colored cardstock. I used colors I thought would go well with my daughter’s play area decor, but you can definitely use different colors – monochromatic, with gradients of the same color! For the number of raindrops, you will want to cut 2 per raindrop you would like to add on to the garland.

Step 3. Cut lengths of cording and glue them onto your cloud, using glue or hot glue. Make sure your string length would be however long you would like your raindrop craft garland to be. If you are using hot glue, make sure to push down the glue so it doesn’t create a bump on your paper. Once all three strings are attached, glue down the other cloud cutout.

Step 4. Attach your raindrops in a pattern of your choice – I eyeballed mine – and hot glue both sides in place, sandwiching the string piece in the middle. You can make the garland longer or shorter, and add as many raindrops as you would like.

Step 5. Once you are happy with the number of raindrops on your garland (and the length of your garland), cut the excess string. And you are done!

Hang your raindrop craft garland with tape or tacks depending on how long your garland is. Accessorize with balloons or even display them in a staggered manner like how I did. I love how colorful and fun this spring craft is! What do you love the most about spring?
